Latest Scam Alert Reported Thursday March 6, 2014

Some Latin Clubs have come under attack by a scammer. The attack alert orginially passed around was translated into English and sent out again on Friday march 7, 2014 after the threat was verified.

A notice sent out by Delerium to vendors and customers warns if anyone receives an object named RADAR FREE V44, DO NOT WEAR IT!

 Take the proper precautions to delete it. This object allegedly will activate a money transfer from your Second Life account to the object’s sender. It will than duplicate and send itself to other unsuspecting victims. To help protect others against the spread of Linden stealing attack, warn your friends and groups members.  This type of scam is focused on business and club owners. To protect yourself, never click on any free items that are passed to you by a stranger. Always know who you are receiving items from and ask questions if you are suspicious!

The legend of the stone is that whoever plants a solid kiss on it, the smoocher receives the magnificent gift of gab,  meaning you will have the gift of talking and never shutting up!

 To my delight, I've discovered an eponymous bar in-world that is located on the Dublin sim. The bar itself is a somewhat of a stick-out from the rest of the stark landscape of buildings, nearly impossible to miss and ignore. The doors are flung open to welcome all wayfarers to come and have a pint with the locals.

Behind the Avatar: Meet Prometheus- Lanai Jarrico Reporting…

In Second Life you can find an assortment of things to do and many reasons why people choose to be involved. For many it is a pastime and for others it is much more. Behind each avatar is a story to tell, some are made up of series of events that transform the way they live real life and others bring their real life gifts into the virtual world and share them with people from around the world.

What brings me back to Second Life is the inspiration I get from the many different people I meet. The stories ignite something within me that makes me want to be more creative, see things in a new light and helps me find extra meaning and purpose to the things I do here. Writing has always been my passion and it gives me the ability to stand on a virtual soapbox and share it with readers from all walks of life that can somehow relate to the things I’ve seen with my virtual eyes.

We met a couple of months ago when I was contacted to assist with the promotion of his gallery. It was a crisp, warm, breezy morning when I dropped in Shopping city, a sim-wide Tuscan city that houses Aphrodite Shop goods. The city was minutely bustling with clientele for this time of morning.

Marina was standing, awaiting my arrival as she towered over my virtual being, partially rezzed. She was clad in all black, a dramatic contrast to the Valentine's Day decorum, flora and fauna, and delicious romantic culinary fare. We retrieve a bistro-style table, presumably her creation, and she offers me coffee. I take a sip and snap out of my drowsy stupor, as it was needed to handle this lady-on-the-move. She immediately takes this look of enthusiasm and readiness that I had to honor with the swiftness. So, I obliged and immediately delved into the conversation that I so excitedly looked forward from the moment we had agreed to huddle for a glimpse into her life.
