just that, and more. It is a massive 6 year old sim with a wide range of

Do you like adventures? Me too. Come join me on one of SL's greatest journeys.
What is it with our fondness for expeditions as human beings? Whatever the reasoning is, we just know that we love to go on odysseys! The latest adventure that I went on was the Lost Treasure of the Inca Warrior Game.
The Lost Treasure of the Inca Warrior Game was created and is run by the company, MadPea Production. This activity debuted on March 15th, 2013 and has been well received by all who have participated in it. The object of the game is to find certain items. When you have found everything that the pastime requires, you are awarded fifteen fabulous prizes. When the journey first was presented to the public, a cash gift of L$10,000, in addition to the other keepsakes, were given to the initial person who completed the quest.

SLE often shines a spotlight on venues, performances and
activities that take place across the grid. Most of the time you see interviews
with business owners or self promoters, this time we are taking you behind the
scenes to meet the staff that help make it all happen.
Paramount Playhouse first opened its doors in December of
2012. Today it is known as home to classy burlesque, comedy and other fine
entertainment in an elegant yet casual atmosphere. The performances you may
have seen or heard about most recently are Cleo and the Czar for the month of
April, as well as past performances featuring Christmas Tails, New Year’s
Spectacular, Mardi Gras, special performances by Glenn Bunjie and Elvis BubbaC
Johns, Fab Four and The Beatles Tributes, Dancers’ Showcase, and Sexy Coast to
Coast. Paramount Playhouse sure has been busy between rehearsals and show times
to deliver quality entertainment that is very similar to going to the Big Apple
and taking in a Broadway show. The difference is, admission is free and the
interaction between a global community of guests and staff is paramount.
The modest Pathmaker Campbell-MacGregor is the owner but
he wanted us to shift the spotlight and attention on those that help him provide
Second Life residents with Paramount Playhouse shows.
Pathmaker told The SL Enquirer, “The creation of the paramount was making dreams come true - and
those were the dreams of my partners LeAnn and Lotta - to have a place to
perform and to be able to exercise our own creativity. Pat and Bo
Sharpshire, the owners of the Sprit Marina Sim made that dream possible; they
are dear friends and the physical building of the Paramount was Pat's gift to
us. But a working theater is much more than three owners and a building,
no matter how dedicated the owners nor how large their dreams. Our Cast
members are what make it possibly for the Paramount to function and it's very
important to me that they receive the credit and recognition they deserve”.
With that said, let’s meet the staff J

420, culture, history, Lanai Jarrico, Marijuana, subcultures, The SL Enquirer

Let me enlighten you with a little bit of random history on this term. The Cannabis subculture
refers to this time and date as a code number referring to the consumption of
Marijuana. It’s earliest reference began by a group of California teenagers that
called themselves the Waldos, in the early 1970’s. These teenagers would meet up outside of the
San Rafael High School, near a statue of Louis Pastuer where they made plans to
search for an abandoned cannabis crop they had heard about. They never found
the crops but the 420 term stuck and continues today for pot smokers as a countercultural
holiday in North America. Many have
observed this day throughout the years by meeting up in public places like San Francisco’s
Golden Gate Park, the University of Colorado’s campus and even crossed over
into Canada where it has been observed at Vancouver Art Gallery and Parliament Hill.
Events have also taken place in New Zealand at the University of Otago. It is
an ongoing debate for states where Marijuana is illegal. In recent years
legalization of Marijuana across the U.S has been a hot topic. Some are fighting for their right to smoke, while others see bigger reasons to legalize.
So
why have people continued to celebrate marijuana if it is illegal in most
states?
Tom2point0 .... giving soul to the metaverse one note at a time - Lacy Muircastle reporting ...
Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings
to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to
everything.
Plato
Plato
In my wanderings around Second Life I happened upon a
performance by one Tom2point0. I really
enjoyed his performance, in fact so much so that I even went to his link to
listen to more of his music. I found a
song about drama which was rather apt since I had just written a piece on what SL
would be without drama, and it rather appealed.
Take a listen, it is actually really amusing and boy will you hear
things that ring true for your second life and probably your real life too.

What do you do if you have years of experience performing live in SL? Plus a ton of friends who are top notch live performers, as well as too much club equipment just sitting in your inventory? Well, if you are Tricky Digfoot, you follow a dream and open a small, laid back and fun live venue!
The Rockit is that venue. After performing live and being involved in a large sim aimed at the SL music scene, he decided to step out of his comfort zone and open his own venue at which he and his friends would perform and he could book other great live shows.
"I've performed in SL for a few years now with a group. We owned a sim at one point but they kinda went to big for me. It was bit much with my busy RL. So anyway, I had a lot of club equipment in my inventory that was just collecting dust so to speak. So I decided to open a club on a smaller parcel and keep it simple and a little less stressful."

Established in 2012 in Virtual Harlem, the Harlem Speakeasy had represented its name and lived up to expectations quite well. Unfortunately, the server had run into problems with costs and the owner; Jackie Lefko, wisely set the club up with a skybox soon after as a temporary measure. Ms. Lefko, as of March 2013, settled the popular club in the “Wynchester Hope Too” Sim and has made quite a name for itself among the cultured masses of visual and musical artists on SL.
Upon entering the Harlem Speakeasy, I gathered my initial responses mentally, I had a sense of warmth, vibrancy, and expressiveness. The club was quite full of patrons that had much to say about the place, all were having a good time, not one complaint in sight, and on top of all of that, there was a live DJ by the name of Urban King. When I tried to reach him for an interview, he did not reply, but his music choices spoke for themselves. He kept soulful rhythms pulsing onward through the night as I sat and listened over by the beautiful wood-finish bar. The selection of drinks is very wide, and most are on the house with courtesy of the owner, there are many places to lounge, and even more space to dance and socialize. The club’s minimalistic, well-constructed interior gave it a jazz-hall feel mixed with a blues bar and the color highlights of a R&B establishment. While taking in all of these astounding decorations and colors, I then became engrossed into the music.

The world is known for its diverse cultures and magnificent cities. Some people might not get the opportunity to travel and this is where virtual programs become useful.
Second Life allows users to create and explore replicas of locations found on Earth. While SL has thousands of sims to highlight, there is one that is a staple of Second Life.
New York City SL owned by Joi Price, on November 1th, 2011. After the sim had been debuted to hundreds over the course of the day, Ms. Price decided to develop the sim further “We created a community where living, working and playing effortlessly merge together.” New York City SL is divided into several “districts” or sections, just like the island of Manhattan in the state of NY, U.S.A. is in the offline realm.

Fashion is a big deal in Second Life. You can find a
variety of styles created by designers across the grid.
What is unique about
every store is each creator has their own fashion sense put into each piece
they create. They draw creativity from the current fashion trends in magazines
and down the trendy runways around the world. If there is one thing that most
avatars like to do, it is shop. Whether you are a person that wants to mimic
your real life style or try on things you wouldn’t normally wear, In Second
life there is something for everyone. Sheen Revnik is a fashion designer. His
creations include a variety for both men and women.
From formal and casual wear to sexy, western
themed and accessories to match; he has your shopping trip covered at Gentry
Clothing Store.
Interview
with Sheen Revnik
Lanai:
Hi Sheen, before we get started on what Gentry Clothing Store has to offer, I
wanted to get to know a little about you. One of my favorite questions to ask
is what brought you to Second Life?
Sheen: I’ve always been interested in computers, CGI and
creative aspects of both and when I hear of a virtual world that you could
create your own world, building, clothes…virtually anything, I had to see and
be a part of it.

You just know you are in for a unique show when you walk into the venue and the band taking the stage are all tinies!
Each one of them bickering back and fourth playfully and the crowd is laughing along with their antics. The singer herself is a 'biggie' and she manages to somehow wrangle this menagerie. The mood is light and relaxed and everyone's spirits are high. Yeah, this is gonna be fun!
That is exactly what you can expect with a performance from Keeba Tammas. A fun, free wheeling and light hearted show featuring an expansive song list that covers everything from Martha and the Vandellas 'Dancing In The Streets' to "Weird" Al Yankovic 'Dare To Be Stupid.'

In everyday life, politics shapes our world. From how high the curb must be to how much taxes you pay. Someone, somewhere, makes the laws of the land.
There's no getting away from politics. Turn on your television or open any newspaper and you will see some member of government talking about the hot topic of the day, or defending the latest proposition to change the law. Every government in every country control banks, the economy, the various security forces and make sure that everyday life is peaceful and fair for all. But this is Second Life. We come here to get away from day-to-day troubles and cast aside who we really are. We live, love, fight, dance and just be who we want to be; carefree and happy to do exactly what we want in our ideal, alternate life.

needs is skills and an imagination. It
is used for self expression, an escape from everyday stresses and even works as
a form of therapy. Art comes in many different mediums from sculpting, drawing
and painting to photography, graphic design and assemblage.
Style can be
contemporary, abstract, modern, realistic or a combination of all. With the rapid growth of technology, art can
be taken to new levels and shared with people from all over the world. Second
Life is the perfect platform for showcasing art and interacting with fans.

education always included art. She was enrolled in Saturday classes and special
projects through high school and into college where she studied Graphic Design
at Tyler School of Art/Temple University. Her mediums are traditional acrylic
