GeekSpeak – biohacking
We are all used to DNA testing; people want to know who their father is, who their ancestors were, which dog has been pooping on their lawn. But what happens when DNA testing moves on to DNA hacking?
Now people can hack DNA in private labs, in garden sheds. We will see strawberries that taste like apples, dogs that glow in the dark, mosquitoes that inject poison, wasps that destroy crops.
How far will it go? Will we see bees that record everything they see, children who glow in the dark or who are green and photosynthesise, miniature polar bears, women with snakes for hair?
Everything could be possible. Join us in GeekSpeak. Bring a blood sample.
IM Vulcan Viper if you have ideas for new subjects.
