Center Ground and BOSL are looking for creators of Urban and Ethnic wear to participate in fashion events in mid-April, during Earth Week.

There are plans for a fashion show and exposition of items designed from recycled and sustainable materials.

Mesh…how did we ever survive without it I hear you ask?

As content creators are getting better, it has only made our choices even harder on what to buy and wear.

If you are not sure what is new out or even what is available, never fear here is my list of what I feel is hot for now. However, instead of featuring mesh clothing, I am going to feature mesh for your body, which I feel is becoming popular now.

RiRi Inspired mesh head

I think this is very clever as it looks so life like. If you have ever wanted to look like a famous person then here is your chance. This is a Rihanna inspired mesh head, intended for personal use, whether for avatar appearance or learning. This version of the head is non modifiable and only includes a makeup HUD, including 6 makeup types which I think is very good as it allows you change your look easily.

The content creator does other mesh heads also.

Slink AvEnhance Hands Female – Casual and Slink

AvEnhance Hands Male – Relax

As we all know, Slink make excellent mesh hands and feet, so it would not be surprising to find it in my list of mesh body parts. You can find several female hands with different finger poses, but I picked this one as I felt it had more of a causal feel and look to it for any occasion, but you can purchase which ever you feel works for you. This is the female hand and they also do male hands.

Slink AvEnhance Feet Female Flat

These flat feet will only work with shoes made for Slink Flat Feet. I have picked these as I feel, to me,they look more natural when worn, as your feet are not always on tip toe. Again, Slink have done an excellent job on these feet and has made my list for mesh body parts.

Slink Physique Mesh Body

This is not a "shape" or a "skin". It is a fitted mesh female body replacement for your SL avatar body. It will work with the included shapes OR your own shape!

You must have at least basic shaders and hardware skinning on for this body to work properly.

I am new to mesh bodies, so have chosen a creator who I know, and I know there are quite a few stores in SL which create mesh bodies but, to begin with, I think this is a good starting point.

These are just a few mesh body parts you can purchase in SL and I am sure if you are new to mesh body parts then you will have a lot of fun a little tip if a demo if offered purchase the demo first.

Creators are everywhere in the virtual world. From fashion and furniture to art and everything in between can be created and used by avatars.

SL creators use their own inspiration and imaginations to create art and things that can be sold to residents in Second Life. The first location that I went to visit has some wonderful art pieces from paintings to vases, and a few art work furniture pieces. The one that I loved was called” Perfection Lady in glass”

Mesh has become the norm in Second Life. From clothing to homes, mesh can be found everywhere. If you are a content creator, you may be wondering how exactly you can begin to create mesh objects. Most designers will use 3D tools such as Blender or Maya. These programs do have quite a learning curve and will require much real life time to create.

So what do you do? Luckily there is a great and handy mesh tool that you can use to create mesh objects and that tool is…Mesh Studio.

Mesh Studio is the brainchild of TheBlack Box and Anjin Meili. These names may be familiar to you if you have used the very popular Sculpt Studio, easy to create sculpt tool. The tool allows creators to create standalone mesh models or to create mesh models that can be manipulated and edited in real life 3D mesh creation tools.
