The LOOK of the YEAR jury selected the third group of six semi-finalists. Well done to ALIXE WALPOLE, AME MORNINGSTAR, ARIA ABSINTHE, MARTINA FIERTZE, SYLVER VENDETTA & VICKIE MAIDSTONE who are now in the race to obtain the prestigious LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR title and the incredible L$50,000 cash prize that comes with it!

 

In this challenge, the participants were paying tribute to Zuri Rayna, the famous jeweler who makes our Second Life sparkling since 2007 and a great muse to LUXE Paris.

This week, we invite participants to create a LUXE Paris look for the legendary Coco Chanel who freed women from their corset and still inspires today's fashion.

 

HOW WOULD YOU DRESS COCO CHANEL TODAY?

She had so more style that she still influences fashion more than 50 years after her death! Gabrielle Coco Chanel is certainly the most famous fashion's star of the history. Her iconic women's suit inspired by masculine fashion, her little black dress, her use of jersey to bring comfort to women, her ton of pearls necklaces... All that is still so much in the mood of time!

But how would you dress her today for a LUXE Paris event? In LUXE Paris of course but what style? Surprise us! Charm us!

The last week/challenge will pay a tribute to the unforgettable Frolic Mills.

 

Remember that both men and women can participate. If the icon is female, the male participant must simply create a look for the icon's companion and vice versa. 

Do not see the icons as limits but rather as flames to ignite your

imagination. We definitely don't want carbon copies! Let your creativity run wild!

LUXE Paris is looking for an ambassador, an elegant and original person, with charisma. Could be a woman or a man. Could be a professional or a beginner, this has already been seen. The organization offers tailored mentoring to the 12 finalists.

LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR A GREAT VINTAGE SHOW!

The finalists of the LOOK of the YEAR competition took on their first challenge with flying colors on Sunday, presenting a super vintage show with fashion from LUXE Paris and jewelry from ZURI.

The 12 greats, all vying for the prestigious role of ambassador of LUXE Paris, were to interpret a decade of fashion that had been randomly assigned to them in a mega production directed by One On One agency. From long satin gloves and socialite 50s party dresses to minimalist and ethical 2020s fashion, the finalists took us on a journey through time with sharpness and originality while DJ Blueyes Bonetto set the mood with good old vintage tunes.

But while the spectators danced on their chairs and applauded their favorites, the judges meticulously evaluated the finalists, in search of the ideal candidate to represent LUXE Paris.

The scores awarded by the judges for this first challenge will be added to the scores of the second and final challenge next Sunday, August 7, and it is the sum that will determine the LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR winner.

The new LUXE Paris ambassador, who will be revealed immediately after the last challenge on Sunday, will win L$50,000 cash in addition to numerous gifts offered by sponsors.

SL's Got Talent: RICARDO WINS 2013 SLGT CONTEST!

On the evening of Saturday, September 21, 2013, many gathered at the Wynchester Hope City Open Venue and others listened on the Contest Stream as seven (7) wonderful singers graced us with their amazing talent.  Each contestant performed two songs for the six judges and live audience. What an amazing evening!  The JUDGES collaborated and admit to how difficult it was to select the winners.   During a special awards event last evening, the 2013 SL’s GOT TALENT WINNERS were announced:
