We cannot prevent a world war forever. There was a near miss last month and one day it will really happen. When it does what will we fight about? Oil, lithium (which will be important if we rely on solar energy), water, religion, land on the moon?
Will it be a hot war, with people dying on battlefields and in bombed cities? Or a war fought by robots? Or will it be a cyber war, fought in cyber space?
Who will survive? Is there a chance that the next world war will drive our species to extinction?
Or do you think this is all hogwash? Are we too mature now to fight a world war? Are wars of all sorts dying out?
