NOMA FALTA is a POWERFUL, passionate performer in the Music scene of Second Life.  A vocalist, bass player, and guitar player in genres covering Blues, rock, soul, pop, and jazz-influenced tunes.  Noma plays bass and sings live with tracks for solo shows, but she can also perform a solo acoustic show - just woman and guitar.
 
 She is a powerful, soulful Vocalist and Musician enjoying the company of Second Lifers for over 13 years. A high-energy artist who loves being involved with the audience during her shows. From solid grooves with bass and tracks to heartfelt unplugged acoustic shows - it is all about the Music and You.

A Multi-instrumentalist and Strong Vocalist with power and soul embedded in all music endeavors, Noma has extensive experience for the past 40+ years around the Real-world on stages, arenas, and bars across the U.S and overseas.

Joining Noma for this special LIVE ensemble is Donn Devore, who is a music producer, audio engineer, multi-instrumental musician, singer, composer, and Second Life performer since 2007.

Inspired by Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, and more, Donn performs a mix of original rock and electronic music.  Combining influences from rock, trance, and techno genres, Donn has developed a delicious blend of sounds from guitar-based love songs to high-energy dance music to experimental electronic pieces.  He demonstrates a broad range of musical talent singing with a rich, soulful voice while jamming on guitar and keyboards. His live shows are exciting to watch with colorful visuals and particle effects creating a fully immersive live music experience while inviting audience interaction.

No stranger to Terry's stage, Mimi’s extensive song list doesn't just highlight the eclectic tastes and influences upon her development as an artist, which includes rock, indie, and pop. The inclusion of English, French and German language songs also reflects her travels and experiences living throughout Europe and abroad.

August 22nd - Holly Giles and Zorch Boomhauer LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase

Hailing from Australia, Holly brings a fresh voice to the live music scene of Second Life. She finds joy in music that is not only felt by the listener but fuels each and every one of her performances.

Holly has a wide range in genres from Rock, pop, country from Lady Gaga, Adele, Brooks and Dunn, CCR, LeAnn Womack , Shania Twain  Stevie Nicks and a whole lot more! A long time promoter of the musical arts, she further enriches our world with her uniquely moving vocal range and passion.  

Coming up after Holly this week at 5pm SLT, our next featured artist is Zorch Boomhauer (aka Jack Kinagree)! Jack is truly the Renaissance rock/folk musician of our time. He is one of those special treasures that breathes quality deep emotion into music.

Jack is one of the most prolific songwriters of our time. His music is thought-provoking and his love songs make you want to fall in love all over again. Jack's musicianship is unique due to his original chord voicing and his guitar tuning. Not only is Jack original when he performs his own music, but he is completely authentic when he puts his spin on cover songs.

August 15th - Katia and Evee Blackstar LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase

Performing her debut at Terry's this week, her wide range of styles coupled with an upbeat stage presence and her infectious laugh has drawn a large fan-base.

Katia hails from Croatia, and is currently living in Lisbon, Portugal. She first entered the SL music scene in 2009, but took a break and re-entered in 2013. Katia has been performing on various online platforms for over 15 years, specializing in modern and classic rock, show tunes, ballads, pop music and a wide variety of genres. Katia speaks 5 languages and during each set enjoys singing a song or two in Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

Katia has a blast when she is performing. Her sense of humor is very contagious and spreads to her audience. You owe it to yourself to attend one of her shows to hear what all the hype is about!

Up next after Katia this week at 3pm SLT, Terry's is proud to welcome Evee Blackstar for her long anticipated debut on our outdoor stage!

This Boston native is always seen practicing her vocals with an iced coffee in hand. Cutting her teeth on the renaissance circuit at 17, and getting her first professional gig at 19, Evee has been in the industry professionally for 14 years, and as a hobbyist for 23 years.

Trained by her incredible coach who has also worked with names such as Steven Tyler, Pink, and the original cast of Rent, Evee's musical taste is everywhere from 'mouse world classics' to Rock and everything in between (yes, even country). So if you're looking for some great music, and some great laughs, come join us!

Musically, he has been influenced by The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison and so many others.

You can find Twostep around the Second Life grid performing at some of the finest venues around, spending a lot of his time performing for charities that are near and dear to him, including cancer research and cures, as well as Feed A Smile.

July 18th - Icecremn Merlin and Tukso LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase

 Join us on Sunday, July 18th beginning at 3pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer! This week's featured artist is Icecremn Merlin, who returned to the SL music scene with new equipment, new sound, and some great covers you will love including Jackson Browne, Johnny Cash and Bruce Springsteen,  It's rock and roll live from his studio in Folsom CA. He also works in South Lake Tahoe as a live engineer, on a contract basis, for many headliners such as Sammy Hagar, Kenny Loggins, Dave Mason, Cheap Trick, and many others.

Ice’s father was in a band, so music was a big influence in his life. Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys....Willie Nelson....Hank Snow and Hank Williams.  His cousin currently plays lead guitar for George Strait. The first time he performed live was at age 18 playing guitar at a biker bar. He still remembers being afraid if he wasn’t any good he would get beat up. The bikers liked the band and the drummer got them a regular gig. Asked if that was his first band, he remembered being the keyboard player in a band at age 14. He admits that he was not very good at it though he does play a little to this day.  

Icecremn’s SL name was inspired by a song called "Icecream man" originally by John Brim. He really enjoyed the version rendered by Van Halen. His real-life band played a version of it at their shows. He said fondly that one of his bandmates, "smokes the lead lines" on his electric guitar. He calls it a "rockin" version. Pretty sweet, right?

A quick look at Ice's song list reveals his versatile range. His favorite covers are from Jackson Browne.  He sings Bad moon rising by Credence Clear Water Revival, Garden of Eden by Beaver Brown, Need you now by Lady Antebellum, even Margaretville by Jimmy Buffett. As you can see, he has a mix of upbeat, toe-tapping songs and slow, heartfelt ballads. His voice has a good timbre to it. This writer thinks that he sings ballads the best, especially country songs. His rendition of Lady Antebellum's  Need You Now was just brilliant; he made it his own, it was unique and just as tender as the original version.

Also debuting at Terry's this week, coming up at 4pm SLT Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with a LIVE performance from Tukso, a headliner in Second Life (14 years performance experience), and a performer with vast NYC stage experience (CBGB's, Kenny's Castaways, Knitting Factory, Red Lion, China Club, and hundreds more).  Seasoned multi-instrument musician (drums, keyboard, guitar, bass, percussion, harmonica, vocals ~ *ALL PLAYED LIVE as one-man band during concerts). Genres include funk, blues, jazz, soul, psychedelic, rock on original music created on the spot.

June 13th - Zak Claxton and Aufwie Mysterious DEBUT LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase

This week's featured artist is Zak Claxton!  With over 20 years as a professional gigging musician and recording artist based in Los Angeles, Zak is an entertaining and exciting singer/songwriter performing his debut at Terry's this week.

Using his acoustic guitar, voice, and the occasional harmonica, Zak brings high energy to his original music, as well as occasional covers by artists ranging from the '60s to the '10s. His influences include Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, the Who, the Beatles, and many more.

Zak has spent quite a few years as one of SL's most enjoyable live music performers, and his self-titled debut solo album is available on the Frothy Music label. Purchase it in-world or at iTunes, Amazon, and elsewhere.

Following Zak at 4pm SLT. Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with another spectacular debut performance from Aufwie Mysterious, a talented English multi-instrumentalist songwriter, musician, and producer from Sheffield who has been working in music since 2010 whether it was touring with bands or producing other people's music or his own.

Aufwie's live shows in SL stand out from the rest for being charming relaxed acoustic sets that bring life to both original songs and covers that will make you feel like you’re sitting beside him on a starry night by a campfire. From everlasting super hits to unknown underground jewels, all with the unique touch that he manages to showcase in every performance. He released his first homonym EP in September 2020 and it’s available on Spotify, Itunes, Amazon, and other streaming services. Apart from his original work, he has also contributed in many other musical projects both as a producer, artistic director and musician.

May 30th - Rico Dee and Angelikus Deo DEBUT LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase

 

Join us on Sunday, May 30th beginning at 5pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer! This week's featured artist is Rico Dee, an experienced singer/songwriter from Southeast Asia who's taking the SL music scene by storm!

Rico started playing guitar at the age of 10. During his high school and college years, he joined competitions such as 'Battle of the Bands'. After graduating from college, Rico decided to take a year-long personal break and focus solely on his music career. He joined a band in 2001 and traveled all over Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Hong Kong, and China, gaining experience in a variety of genres.

Debuting at Terry's this week, Rico has an ongoing 20 years of musical experience, and loves to convert cover songs into acoustic masterpieces. Be it a show of pure acoustics or backing tracks covering everything from Jazz, Classics, standards, retro, pop, rock, alternative reggae, and originals, Rico always keeps you wanting to hear more.

Following Rico at 6pm SLT. Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with another fabulous debut performance from the lovely Angelikus Deo, a professional singer, seasoned acoustic player, and an award-winning songwriter from the southern Philippines has graced the local music scene since 2011 performing alternative classics in a new sound. With her bag of alt goodies, she is now making waves in the Second Life music scene as she expands her horizons.

Angelikus has been singing since she was 8 years old, taught by her mother first who was a folk singer/guitarist in the city. Her lessons were cut short when her mother went back to work so most of her vocal techniques were self-taught. By 12 years old, she heard rock music for the first time and that changed her music taste since then. She started playing the acoustic guitar when she was 14 mostly playing for friends. She got discovered by film scorer/indie legend of the city Popong Landero when she was 26 which launched her music career with a few bands in the local mainstream music scene. She also took part in a few music-writing competitions which always put her on the finals list every time (Tunog Mindanaw 2012, Tunog Mindanaw 2015, and Red Horse Muziklaban 2016). She took a break when she was 32 to focus on her personal life. Two years later, she got invited to the local underground music scene and there she flourished as a bass player for an all-female metal band and also as a vocalist for another alternative band.

Now with the CoVid19 pandemic, Angelikus is expanding her talents in Second Life. She may be new, but she's a fast learner of the game and her music experience in real life did not hinder her from doing what she loves the most.

Virgil started playing guitar and singing at age 11 and has played professionally on stage and in the studio since he was 17 years old. He's played from the West Coast to the East Coast and all points in between.

He currently plays RL in rock bands, and plays and sings in SL.  A rocker at heart, he also plays blues, country and pop.

Virgil's natural baritone voice will have you singing along to your favorite songs from artists like Santana, David Bowie, INXS, REM, Dwight Yoakam, The Cars, Tom Petty, Prince and many more!

Virgil can play an all acoustic or all electric set with vocals, or any combination in between.  
He plays guitar live and his vocals are live.  Any tracks used are his own recordings.

Coming up at 3pm SLT. Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with another debut performance from the lovely Rogue Galaxy, a musician and live singer born and raised in Newfoundland Canada, now residing in upstate New York, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains!

Rogue has been singing professionally for over 2 decades with her own band in RL and also with other bands too. She has a duo, trio, & a full band that plays a wide variety of music from blues and jazz to easy listening, folk, and Americana!

Rogue vocals are described as sultry, bluesy and  smokey. She will accompany herself with her Ukulele for a one hour acoustic show and/or also uses backing tracks! Her distinct voice and musical style will charm the hearts of all.

Nominated for Sammy's NY People Choice award 2020, Rogue is a must hear performer!

Hailing from Australia, Holly brings a fresh voice to the live music scene of Second Life. She finds joy in music that is not only felt by the listener but fuels each and every one of her performances.

Holly has a wide range in genres from Rock, pop, country from Lady Gaga , Adele , Brooks and Dunn, CCR, LeAnn Womak , Shania Twain  Stevie Nick and a whole lot more! A long time promoter of the musical arts, she further enriches our world with her uniquely moving vocal range and passion.

Erika has a wonderfully expressive voice that can be powerful but also is pleasantly delicate and understated. She brings life to the songs she selects and a window to her soul in songs of her own.

April 18th - Zorch Boomhaeur and Donn DeVore LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase

 

Join us on Sunday, April 18th beginning at 3pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer! This week's featured artist is Zorch Boomhauer (aka Jack Kinagree)! Jack is truly the Renaissance rock/folk musician of our time. He is one of those special treasures that breathes quality deep emotion into music.

Jack is one of the most prolific song writers of our time. His music is thought provoking and his love songs make you want to fall in love all over again. Jack's musicianship is unique due to his original chord voicing and his guitar tuning. Not only is Jack original when he performs his own music, but he is completely authentic when he puts his spin on cover songs.

If you had to sum up Jack’s music in one sentence, he is “The Pulse of Independent Music Today.”

Next up this week at 4pm SLT is Donn Devore, who is a music producer, audio engineer, multi-instrumental musician, singer, composer, and Second Life performer since 2007. He'll be performing one of his infamous Pink Floyd shows this week, so make plans to get there early!

Donn performs a mix of original rock and electronic music.  Combining influences from rock, trance and techno genres, Donn has developed a delicious blend of sounds from guitar-based love songs to high energy dance music to experimental electronic pieces.  He demonstrates a broad range of musical talent singing with a rich, soulful voice while jamming on guitar and keyboards. His live shows are exciting to watch with colorful visuals and particle effects creating a fully immersive live music experience while inviting audience interaction.

As a trained musician and audio engineer Donn has worked with thousands of musicians on hundreds of studio projects, including film and game soundtracks in his 20+ year career.  He toured the U.S. in 2013 and has shared his music with people of Second Life since 2007.  He continues to explore new musical realms with old instruments and new technologies, elevating the quality of entertainment for audiences in SL.

Donn also performs a wide range of cover songs from bands such as Pink Floyd, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Dire Straits and more.

A native of Houston, Texas, he is currently enjoying real life in Beaverton, Oregon.

April 4th - Songbird Sorbet and Keeba Tammas LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase

 

Join us on Sunday, April 4th beginning at 1pm SLT for a special Easter edition of Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer! This week's featured artist is Songbird Sorbet!! Beloved by the tinies community of Second Life as well as many others, Songbird is a cover singer of Pop, Rock 'n Roll, and Country.  She has an SL career that spans over 12 years.

"First off, I love being a tiny bunny in Raglan Shire in a virtual world called Second Life (SL).  For those of you who think virtual worlds are a joke, a waste of time, or where questionable activities go on, you're entitled to your opinion, but it's not to say that that's how it is for everyone else.  Secondly, I don't spend exorbitant amounts of time in SL that consumes my time in real life (RL) or interferes with my responsibilities in RL, so no worries there.

Thirdly, the growth and knowledge I've gained by being a resident of SL and more specifically Raglan Shire, has been TREMENDOUS.  My confidence, my creativity, and my talents have been perfected to the point where it's carried over to my self-esteem in RL. This is truly amazing as my journey towards self-confidence and self-acceptance has been one that I've been on for most of my life.  I've read books, gone to professionals, meditated, done Yoga, blah, blah, blah, but the skills I've attained in SL and the encouragement from tiny and biggy friends alike has been the catalyst to self-appreciation and self-love long missing in my real-life existence. Yes, I have religious beliefs that have helped along the way as well."

Next up this week at 2pm SLT is Keeba Tammas and her backup band, the Tiny Maniacs!  A professional vocalist for many years, Keeba was in a variety of bands in the eighties. She also did voice overs for cartoons and commercials. A seasoned performer in SL as well, Keeba is one of the most sought-after female vocalists available. From the first song to the last she delivers a power-packed punch ... belting out her songs with tremendous energy and sheer raw talent.

Keeba streams from the Midwest and serves up an extremely eclectic repertoire of music: jazz, blues, rock, pop, disco, punk, folk...

"At the age of four my mother plopped me on a stage, at the age of 15, I began recording voices for cartoon and commercial work. I put myself through college by recording jingles, traveling the country performing at fairs, malls, and amusement parks I spent the 80's singing lead in bands. Real Life called me away from music but now this amazing world we call Second Life gives me the opportunity to perform once again.
 
With my husband's help, I have created the vast majority of tracks I use and those that are not my own have been "enthusiastically tweaked". My musical tastes are extremely eclectic: jazz, blues, rock, pop, disco, punk, folk... I will tailor the set to your venue and taste.

 I have been performing in SL since 2007 and most recently have been performing with my backup band, "The Tiny Maniacs"! Actually, I am starting to wonder if they perform with me--or I perform with them!! I invite you to watch my descent into dementia!"

LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase Seli Blackmore & Amberle Janniah on March 14th 2020

This week's featured artist is the lovely Seli Blackmore!!  Performing her debut at Terry's, Seli is a singer/songwriter that continues to impress with her silky smooth voice, pure sweet tone, and vivacious personality that will have you humming to yourself with a big smile on your face.  She not only performs original songs but covers greats like Fleetwood Mac, Billie Holiday, The Dixie Chicks and even some Aerosmith!

Not only is Seli an accomplished singer/songwriter, her voiceover work for radio and television is heard on a regular basis throughout the Nordic region.

Seli was born in the USA but calls Sweden home.  She's currently involved in a number of projects in addition to her own debut solo album. After over a decade in SL, she combines the two things she loves: gaming and music. Her distinctive voice makes her a "must-hear performer" and you won't regret spending your time listening to her mesmerizing music.

Also debuting this week at 3pm SLT is Amberle Janniah! A singer/songwriter/musician from the Philippines, Amberle grew up with several influences that are rooted deep within: her family's deep ties to structured church music combined with her mom's pop/power ballad techniques and her dad's more playful rock/jazz approach to performances.

Amberle knew from early on that music was one of the things that would always make sense, so each and every melody sung from her formative years to the present, would impact her song choices that span from the 80's to the present (and a few handpicked original songs thrown in the mix). Intent on initially focusing on acoustic performances, she has added tracks to her arsenal, choosing to lean into a wider array of sounds and styles to convey a wider range of emotions and topics.

With her ever-growing enthusiasm for guitar, vocals and deft arrangements, Amberle will give you a deeper sense of a raw, stripped down musical experience.

Terry's Sunday Showcase - Lyric Serendipity & Suzen Juel DEBUT

Join us on Sunday, February 28th beginning at 3pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer! Performing her debut this week is Lyric Serendipity...Lyric taught herself to play guitar, keyboard, and accordion by ear at a young age. She was the girl walking around town with her guitar on her back. All signs pointed to her becoming a full-time musician. But life leads her down a different path and that took her focus off the music. She tried going back to it at different times, but she came to realize she had developed a severe case of stage fright and she didn't sing at all for several years.

When she found Second Life, she found her voice again.

Lyric describes herself as a "mumbling, giggling, by-the-seat-of-my-pants" performer. Her sets are truly a 'stream of consciousness' experience. She sings the songs you forgot you loved. Her sets are heavy on the classic 60s - 90s rock, but she has an expansive song list with an eclectic mix from a variety of artists -  Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benatar, The Foo Fighters, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jefferson Airplane, Imelda May, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Eagles, Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Aerosmith, Sheryl Crow, Dire Straits, The Doors, The Cars, Elle King, The Who, The Pretenders, The Allman Bros, Linda Ronstadt, Heart, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Cyndi Lauper, The Beatles, The Black Crowes, David Bowie, Natalie Merchant, Neil Young, The Black Keys, Led Zeppelin ....and many more.

She encourages audience participation and sometimes has her bandmates, The Explicit, on stage with her. Her SL musician friends have been known to drop in and jump up on stage to play along with her as well. Join her on a journey through the decades, singing the songs that is the soundtrack of our lives, Lyric brings the memories of the years of teen angst, new loves, raw sex, painful breakups, fun days and wild nights of our youth rushing back.

Also debuting this week at 4pm SLT is the lovely and talented Suzen Juel, who has entwined and weaved herself into that Tapestry of Talent in Second Life so many Writers and Performers are proud to be a part of.

Suzen Juel Resistance joined SL Community for the 2nd time in April 2005.. to begin performing,(2005 as JueL Resistance) she was one of the first female musicians of a  small handful of musicians back then who has flourished with her songwriting over the next year to become known for her Acoustic Soul and Blues sound.

Since then she has joined talents with other Musicians such as Ricardo Sprocket, RoseDrop Rust and Cylindrian, as well as a small handful of great talents outside SL, and across the globe of collaborations.... with Boris Van Luger and Nestor Sanchis.....

Juel has been interviewed for various Magazines: Rolling Stone, Wired and is being Broadcast on the Infinite Mind Radio where she also sells her two songs "INTRUSIVE and GIVE ME MERCY"..as well as Indie Spectrum Radio in SL and Radio Paradise.com an Internationally known progressive radio station on the Net!

JueL is also a painter, an artist as well as a photographer. You can see her works at House of Flames where her shop and Venue LIVING ROOM #13 are currently displaying her works.  JueL Is well known in the  Second Life community as a singer-songwrite who does a deep emotional ride of Blues as well as Americana, Folk and Roots. She was one of the first female musicians in Second life and the first to go down the road of Blues...she brings with her years of talent, experiences and emotions that embed themselves deep into her songs.

LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase - Saramarie Philly & Bat Masters/Ed Lowell February 21st 2021

 

Join us on Sunday, February 21st beginning at 2pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer! This week's featured artist is the lovely SaraMarie Philly...SaraMarie is a music graduate pianist/vocalist who plays a very wide variety of genres. It is not uncommon to hear her perform the #1 song on the Top 40 but then sing a classical opera song causing jaws to drop. Many say she is one of, if not THE best vocalist in SL.

In her original music, Saramarie just writes what comes to her heart, regardless of what genre it sounds like. She chooses cover songs that have special meaning for her within the lyrics or that connect with her in a musical way.

Saramarie doesn't really like being pigeon-holed into one genre, which means that at this point in her life she performs a very wide range of musical styles from Classical Opera to R&B, and loves that SL allows her to do that. Her audiences sure seem to like the variation!
Following Saramarie, debuting this week at 3pm SLT in what's sure to be a spectacular DUAL stream performance will be Bat Masters and Edward Lowell!  Bat feels awkward writing about himself in the 3rd person and is from Sugartit, KY which is totally true. He plays guitar and bass and sings but not all at the same time. Bat makes his SL shows fun, like we're all just sitting on the porch singing together. Bat loves Americana and true country as well as rock and even a dash of hip hop.

Bat has been a part of the SL music community since February of 2011. His SL shows usually consist of general silliness and acoustic guitar. Bat is an avid relay streamer as well and can sometimes be found playing bass and singing behind other artists like Beth Odets, Twostep Spiritweaver and more.

Joining Bat for his debut is Edward Lowell, known as “The Lyrical Bard”, one of the first to enter the scene as a Second Life musician. Few have the talent to master both strings and wood instruments, but anyone following his events has heard the flute, mandolin and twelve-string guitar.  Ed’s fans will tell you his flute playing tugs at the heart and his love ballads bring a tear to your eye. His unique style of charm and wit is sure to entertain you

Valentine's Day, Feb 14th - Zachh Cale & Phemie Garfield LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase

 

Join us on Sunday, February 14th beginning at 5pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer! In celebration of Valentine's Day, this week's featured artist is none other than the talented Zachh Cale, a unique singer, and keyboardist.  He re-interprets popular songs in ways you've never heard before. - with original arrangements sometimes pre-conceived, sometimes created on-the-spot.  

You can hear some of his classical training in his performance, but you can also, hear his personal passion and expression which is unique to him. If you enjoy live playing,  a wide range of music (pop, rock, jazz), then you'll love Zachh Cale!

Next up at 6pm SLT, debuting this week at our special Valentine's themed venue is Phemie Garfield (also known as Phemie Alcott), an acoustic singer/songwriter playing her piano across the grid since 2007. She has a lovely tone to her voice that layers beautifully with the warm keys of her piano. You will get sucked into the stories she weaves in the songs she covers as well as the haunting originals she shares with us.  

Phemie's song selection is varied spanning both time and genre. From the moment you hear those first few keys break through the quiet until the last notes she sings at the end of the hour you'll be glad you stopped by and looking forward to the next time.

Terry's Sunday Showcase Presents Winter & Mimi Carpenter February 7th 2021

 

Join us on Sunday, February 7th beginning at 2pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer!  This week's featured artist is Winter! This powerful songwriter/performer performs a high energy, rock, blues rock and classic rock guitar show covering tunes from Elvis and the Beetles to Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Aerosmith, Guns 'N' Roses all the way to Metallica!

With Winter, you can be sure that you will only get a real live performance. There is no pre-recorded playback. You get all the little variances of his "in the moment" showing, as he radiates out to each of you that request his interpretation, the finest music in SL.  Yes, my friend, WINTER IS HERE!

Also performing this week at 3pm SLT, Terry's is proud to welcome Mimi Carpenter!! Known for her distinctively gentle, French lilt, Mimi Carpenter's talent as a self-taught musician has graced the Second Life music scene for a decade. As her presence and talent grew, so too did her repertoire of covers and originals.

Mimi’s extensive song list doesn't just highlight the eclectic tastes and influences upon her development as an artist, which includes rock, indie, and pop. The inclusion of English, French, and German language songs also reflect her travels and experiences living throughout Europe and abroad.

Join us on Sunday, January 31st beginning at 3pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer! This week's featured artist is Grace McDunnough! Grace is an indie singer/songwriter from Atlanta, GA, and draws inspiration from an eclectic mix of folk, soul, alternative rock, and blues. An SL AMA and Avi Choice Award winner, Grace throws down a variety of acoustic cover and original sets with an old guitar, rich lyrics, and powerfully raw vocals that will leave your heart pounding - in a good way.  This will be Grace's debut at Terry's and is sure to be a spectacular show!

His blend of comedic and poetic entertainment leaves you with memorable moments and an uplifted heart...writing in perspective to real-life relationships, he composes songs that help rediscover your purpose and enlighten you. Maybe you've never heard his songs before, but your soul has sung them a thousand times. AE's "cafe style" performances and flirtatious soul leave you relaxed yet entertained as he covers songs from Eric Clapton to Norah Jones; Guns N Roses to John Mayer as well as ORIGINALS that will leave you BREATHLESS!!
