With her acoustic guitar and a voice that can be gritty and dark or light and pretty, Grace Loudon has an impressive vocal range that allows her to perform a mix of originals and covers from Dolly Parton's "Jolene" to Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" and everything in between.

Whether laid back, easy-going tunes or powerhouse ballads that draw out your emotions, Grace Loudon has the skill and talent that comes through in every song.

Next up at 3 pm SLT, Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with a special LIVE performance from the lovely Mimi Carpenter!

Well known for her distinctively gentle, French lilt, Mimi's talent as a self-taught musician has graced the Second Life music scene for a decade. As her presence and talent grew, so too did her repertoire of covers and originals.

No stranger to Terry's stage, Mimi’s extensive song list doesn't just highlight the eclectic tastes and influences upon her development as an artist, which includes rock, indie, and pop. The inclusion of English, French and German language songs also reflects her travels and experiences living throughout Europe and abroad.

Mimi Carpenter and Abby Jaidov LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase- October 10th

 

Join us on Sunday, October 10th beginning at 1pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer!  This week's featured artist is Mimi Carpenter, performing at our special Halloween-themed venue!

Known for her distinctively gentle, French lilt, Mimi's talent as a self-taught musician has graced the Second Life music scene for a decade. As her presence and talent grew, so too did her repertoire of covers and originals.

Mimi’s extensive song list doesn't just highlight the eclectic tastes and influences upon her development as an artist, which includes rock, indie and pop. The inclusion of English, French, and German language songs also reflect her travels and experiences living throughout Europe and abroad.

Following Mimi this week at 2pm SLT, Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with a LIVE DEBUT performance from Abby Jaidov, a singer/acoustic guitarist with over 20 years experience singing in bars and restaurants in real life. She injects her unique style and energy into the music she performs, which span for several decades of hits.

Abby's biggest influences include 80's, 90's, and current Pop and Rock. She uses a looper and plays acoustic leads along side her slap rhythms and guitar percussions. The results are full sounding jams while rocking to songs most know and love.

Abby plays many instruments but is proficient with lead and rhythm guitar, an excellent bassist, ukulele, drums, as well as sax and other wind instruments. She has dual streamed with several friends including Max, Mimi, and Rosemary, on bass and has been accompanied by virtuoso violinist "Fly" via dual stream. Any time you come to one of Abby's shows, expect to be entertained with good music, a healthy sense of humor and creative originals and covers.
