The SL Enquirer Open Mic Songwriter Auditions are back, and they’re bringing more excitement than ever before! Join us on Wednesday, March 19th, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM SLT, for an unforgettable evening where talented songwriters and performers will compete for a L$5000 prize and a spotlight feature article in the SL Enquirer. This month’s auditions will have a Broadway/Musical Theater theme, creating the perfect stage for creative expression and dramatic flair!
We are thrilled to announce that the event will once again be hosted by Ninja Antwoord, a celebrated figure in the virtual music world, and Wolfie Starfire, a talented female singer/songwriter who brings both passion and experience to the stage. Together, they will guide participants and audiences through a night of stellar performances, intense competition, and musical magic.
This month’s event is made even more exciting thanks to the support of SecondLife.music, a new platform dedicated to booking and promoting virtual live music events for both emerging and established performers in Second Life. With SecondLife.music's support, this event promises to offer more exposure and opportunities than ever before for our talented virtual musicians.
The L$5000 prize will be awarded to the best performance, whether it’s an original song or a powerful cover of a Broadway classic.
