This week we will talk about stargazing. For thousands of years, people have looked up at the stars, imagined pictures in the night sky, and tried to understand how the universe worked, what planets are, and how and why they move. How would we think about the universe and our place in it if we lived on a planet where we could not see the stars?
Do you stargaze? Join our star party at noon SLT on Saturday to talk about the stars and how we can enjoy the night sky.
This is a field where amateurs can still do real science. And it is so much fun. Bring your friends. And a telescope!
