With the start of November, daylight savings isn’t the only thing that has come to a conclusion. October ended and that brings to a close the breast cancer awareness events around the country. Many great events and experiences have raised thousands of dollars for cancer research and hopefully one day all this effort can produce a cure for this deadly disease. Throughout the month of October, Terry’s Place has raised money for this great cause with an impressive amount. Terry’s Place has alone, through your donations has raised over $L 96,000!! An impressive amount by any standard bringing in close to 5% of all charitable donations in SL for breast cancer for a grand total of L$ 463,706!!

This past Sunday was their 6 month anniversary and to kick it off, a special live performance by Wolfie Moonshadow and the winner of their open mic contest Rocker. A packed house is nothing unusual for Wolfie and this Sunday was no exception. In Terry’s Place modified outdoor area, Wolfie entertained the crowd to screams and howls as always.

With the crowd all warmed up, Terry’s open mic winner Rocker brought the crowd to a rip roaring frenzy. Rocker with his own unique singing style shows everyone exactly why he was the open mic winner! Open mic night, sponsored by Moonlight Music and is every Friday night from 8pm to 10pm SLT and open to all performers.

On a devastating note, just hours before tonight’s performance, a beloved member of the Second Life music circle, Kat Vargas, passed away from the world’s new reality, Covid-19. Kat was the manager for many Singers and performers and a huge proponent for Live Singing. She was loved by many and an inspiration to us all. She will surely be missed.

| Seth Regan/Mankind Tracer |
In the newly redesigned club, a regular, Seth Regan / Mankind Tracer entertains a new crowd at 9:00pm. Seth sings every other week and has a loyal fan following, not only in the US and Canada but all over the world, filling the club to its newly expanded capacity. A little fun fact about Seth is, along with being one of the best singers in Second Life since 2006, he is also one hell of a graphic artist, personally designing Terry’s Place Logo. Seth has a wide singing range and sings many fan favorites like Roxanne by the Police and Elton John’s Rocket Man. After giving the crowd what they came for he did a fitting tribute to Kat Vargas, singing Landslide by Fleetwood Mac. It was a very moving performance and you could instantly tell it touched everyone in attendance. Seth has an incredible voice and does the tribute to Kat the justice she so deserves.
Sunday night was a fitting evening for their 6 month anniversary and if you want to experience a night of great music, fun and laughter come on out to Terry’s place. A friendly neighborhood pub where everyone knows your name!! Five nights a week events are happening where you are sure to find yourself entertained.
