The 2014 Sunburst Blazin1.FM Caribbean Carnival Prepares For Its Sixth Year

When the month of August rolls around most people know three things for sure: Summer is coming to an end, school is starting soon, and the 6^th annual Sunburst Caribbean Carnival is coming. 

This annual event is produced for the Second Life residents, and this year the festivities begin on the last Saturday in August

 (the 30^th).

Each year since 2008 the staff of Sunburst Premier Grid Entertainment thinks of new ideas to make the next year of carnival a memorable experience.  I have to admit that the 5^th year anniversary of carnival in 2013 was beyond anything I would have anticipated, and will go down in SL history.  In this the 6^th year of the Caribbean carnival if feels like we are still on a 5^th anniversary hangover, so it won’t be topped but we will have a new location, new Caribbean DJ’s in the lineup this year, and contests for the wildest Caribbean costume, and the King and Queen of carnival.  This year’s Caribbean carnival will be held at the newly opened Cape Cod Island on Sunburst Estates, and the Larsson National Seashores at Chatham Light Beach.  The beautiful location has been open to the public in its third week. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sunburst%20Estates/142/122/22
