Apart
from being incurably curious, I am also an incurable romantic, (we all have our
failings don’t we.... Just look at my profile inworld and you will see what I
mean.) So it was with the utmost joy
that I attended a marriage renewal service of note on Sunday 24th
August.
The
beautiful couple that are Blake Hambleton and Shannon Bramlington (Mr and Mrs
Hambleton), owners of Sweethearts Jazz and accompanying businesses, have been
married for five years and they decided to share their love with those that
make their group the most romantic group in SL, their members and friends and reinforce their commitment to one another.

from Atonement. I believe this quote encompasses all
that Blake went to great lengths to share with us about how he feels for
Shannon. Those of us present at the
ceremony were left in no doubt that he truly loves his beloved Shannon.

Shannon said in her vows “I have seen the best of you and the worst of you, and
I choose both. Thank you for loving me this long, and for keeping your
promises. After all these years, I'm still so very proud to call you my
husband. As we continue on in our promise of forever, I promise you'll always
be my best friend, my lover, my rock and my soft place to land.”
It makes
my heart sing to see that romance is far from dead both in real life and Second
Life. So without further ado, let me
take this opportunity to once more wish you both much happiness in your lives,
both RL and SL and also for the continued success of Sweethearts Jazz, so that
others like you may find that special someone.
