Some of us may have been to Australia or know people from Australia and have either heard or read about the famous landmarks in Real Life.For those who have never visited Australian Landmarks in Real Life have the opportunity to visit them in Second Life.

This is just a small selection of landmarks that resemble famous Real Life Australian landmarks in Second Life for you to visit.

Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney and is an essential gateway as it is feeding traffic to and from Sydney. The Second Life version can be found on the Australia, Australia sim. It looks similar to the original in Real Life and you can also walk and take photos on the bridge in Second Life.

BONDI BEACH -- SYDNEY CITY.

Bondi Beach Sydney City in Second Life can be found on the wings shores sim. It has good  waves where you can either surf or just sit and relax on the beach.

Further in the sim, the city you will find a few clothing stores. In Real Life Bondi Beach is a suburb of Sydney, one.

Sydney Opera House

The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts centre in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Situated on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour. The version in Second Life is kind of similar to the one in Real life. However, the version in Second Life is used as a night club.

Australian Outback

I could not leave out the outback! In Real Life the Outback is the vast, remote, arid area of Australia. The term "the outback" is generally used to refer to locations that are comparatively more remote. In Second Life the outback has been created well and resembles a part of the Auzzie outback.

Australian Monorail Station

Australia's congested major cities have no space left at ground level for new, as Monorails don't stop at traffic lights it provided an excellent alternative to cars in Australia. Here in Second Life it has been created just as show piece which would have been good if they had the train and you were able to visit the different parts of the sim. Or even a copy of the monorail.

Australians in Second Life have created a little Auzzie in us all. Created in SL to resemble the homeland and the monuments which have become symbols of Australia. All which can be found right here in the virtual world.
