Second Life Hair Fair 2013- July 13th-July 28th- Tea Couturier Reporting…

Yes it’s that time again for Hair Fair 2013, where a showcase of new hair styles that SL hair stylists have created for both women and men.

Hair Fair 2013 in SL is one of the biggest and longest running fairs in SL for the past 3 years.  At this fair, creators show off  an assortment of new or present styles they have on shelves now or will be in stores soon. It is a great way to find new styles and meet creators you may not have known about before as well as see familiar creators work.

Hair Fair 2013 is stretched over several sims in a Lego land theme. There are so many hair creators exhibiting this year such as, Sugarsmack, Decoy, ohmai,  and Cheerno located on the Hair Fair 1 sim. At Harbour sim you will find Alice Project, Clawtooth and Mr & Miss C. At Port Hair fair 2  sim, Amaccie, LoQ and Pritty can be found. Finally, Brickness Hair fair 3 sim has hair from Colors, Ayashi and Mons.

This is just a short of list of what can be found at each of these sims. The list goes on.

When you arrive at the landing point you will be offered a notecard that has a list of all the creators exhibiting at the fair.

I would accept this as it will help you teleport to your favorite hair creator fast and easily. There is also a landing point board which again has the list of all the exhibitors for your convenience. If you touch the board you will be asked to pay for the LM but no worries, it is for free.
I went  the first day so it was very busy and took me a few tries before I could get in. It is hard to walk sometimes so you have to push harder against the lag.

Here are two easy tips for getting round the sims and exploring all the different hair styles at the fair.

I found flying helped me get around the sims much easier without any hassle.  Running also helped me getting around easier.

However, for those who are not aware of Hair Fair 2013, they are also raising money for a charity called Wigs for kids. Last year they raised 2,794,020L which is equivalent to $10,869.59!

Wigs for Kids has been running for over 30 years and provides hair replacement systems and support for children who have lost their own hair due to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, Alopecia, Trichotillomania, burns and other medical issues at no cost to children or their families

The Hair Fair 2013 is a very creative sim in design has all the hair creators and all the styles you can think of  under one roof. It runs from  July 13th – July 28th
It is defiantly worth a visit.
