I had the pleasure of meeting a
celebrity that happens to play within Second Life, Linda
Lauren.
For those that don’t know who she is, she’s a psychic medium that has
numerous accomplishments including art, writing, energy consultant, and has
been trademarked as the Travel Psychic for her talent in travel readings. She
has a sim and has devoted it to her real life lifestyle and selling products to
help those needing them!
Linda
Lauren is one of the most interesting people you can find right here at The SL Enquirer,
having her own column where she writes and you can read her words of wisdom,
but when I found out she was more than another writer I had to meet her for
myself.
She gave me a tour along with her
assistant of her public sim where she sells her to customers. It is a beautiful
atmosphere, and even a place where you can receive a private reading with Linda
Lauren.
Linda
introduced to me to a word I’d never heard before, Reiki. The word has such a
deeper and more beautiful meaning and practice than you’d think!
Reiki is a Japanese word consisting of
two words, Rei meaning ‘Good’s Wisdom’ and Ki meaning ‘life force energy’.
Reiki treats a person to ease stress and helps heal your spiritual self.
Linda showed me to the Reiki table
where her and her assistant, Sumi Portola gave me a treatment. I asked how
something like this could work for me in real life through Second Life and her
answer was simple.
Linda
said, “Energy, computers are energy from
quartz crystals that have been shaven down into microchips. That power is of
the rawest in nature”.
From
the treatment and the tour, we went to the things she sells. Among them are her
artwork, she calls Energy Art.
Her artwork is to aid people in the things
they desire. Each one is like a reading.
The colors in the images promote harmony and can help a person get better
sleep. Linda’s energy art also helps aid people in their wants and needs. Beautiful, stunning, and unique are the top three
descriptions that came to mind when I look at them.
My time with Linda Lauren and her
assistant Sumi left me feeling much better and honored. It’s not every day that
you meet someone that can prove they’re a celebrity in their own right, but
more importantly someone so genuine in their ways to help others.
