What
are Discussion Groups?
Group discussions are conferences with participants who
agree on a variety of topics and have something to share with others. An exchange of ideas and information can be very
helpful in providing a group with different perspectives, helping solve problems and learn new things. Group Discussions are very popular on the
internet with the use of forums and are often practiced in Colleges. In Second Life, the ability to use voice chat
and come together in avatar form from all over the world, creates a realistic
atmosphere for all who participate on a global scale.
