From January 6th to
January 12th ‘Emphatic Eccentricia’ will host a festival to celebrate its 3rd
anniversary and the new sim.
‘Emphatic Eccentricia’ is dedicated to the incredible amount
of creativity in SL. The major theme of Emphatic Eccentricia is the wonder one
has as a child and is also the home the Ain't Life Just Grand? group; a
collective of creative people developing themselves and promoting the creativity
found in SL.
Utterly cool, we managed to get some awesome artists to join
in the fun: Mikati Slade, Eupalinos Ugajin, Cutea Benelli, misseuro Chau,
Jasmin Jolbey, Caro Fayray, Eliopod Beaumont, Nemeton (aka Fluhks), Treacle
Darlandes, Lux Ashdene, and some very cool fixed builds by Dryea Foxdale, OhMy
Shalala, Taubchen Sonnenkern and Veleda Lorakeet.
Furthermore there will be some builds by residents who are
still very new to Second Life. They cannot be missed, as they are part of our
reason to be! Also one of the events of the Jodorowski tarot by MinDBlinD
Setsuko is planned to take place during the festival.
Apart from the art there will also be a first edition to a
workshop on the creative process itself. Open to 12 attendees, who will over
the course of a week will work on creating something, which will be used to
make them more aware of their processes and perhaps open doors to new
opportunities (By Treacle Darlandes, Almut Brunswick and Veleda Lorakeet).
