What's Hot for Fall? CeciliaRosalie Resident Reporting...

From the beginning the title itself brings about the ETERNAL subject, which is important for every woman: New season, New fashion, New trends.

When new seasons arrive, all the magazines are full of articles about fashion trends and catalogues. What makes this article different is that is not just a catalogue or a list with nothing else to say. We will have a closer look on what's in fall fashion; the color pallet, and several styles.

Let's start with colors this fall.  Keep your eyes on these pantone shades: French Roast, a rich brown hue; Honey Gold, a burnished yellow hue; Pink FlambĂ©, a vibrant pink hue; Tangerine Tango, a retro orange hue; Ultramarine Green, a cool blue-green hue; Bright Chartreuse, a cool yellow-green hue; Olympian Blue, a patriotic blue hue; Titanium, a cool gray hue; Rhapsody, a grayed-down purple hue; and Rose Smoke, a veiled rose hue.

Now that we have got the main idea about the dominant hues, we can move on to the specific and unique clothing styles which will be worn this fall.

Trend #1 : VELVET & GLOVES

Velvet is feminine, soft and every piece of it has a certain vintage feel.  Velvet dresses and suits look wonderful. More than that is it remind us of the time when ladies liked looking like ladies and androgyny was never heard of.

While it is quite natural that gloves are showcased before the cold season starts, nearly every designer and fashion house has presented gloves in their Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 collections. These gloves vary in length, material, color and design. There are extra-long and super-short gloves, leather and lace, red and green, simple or elaborate in design.

Trend #2 : HATS

There are hats for every taste. Huge fur hats, classic fedoras, feminine cloche hats, stylish cowboy and schoolboy hats – all are available for you to experiment with.

Trend #3 : GOTHIC
Gothic inspires many collections nowadays but it has become a really big theme during the Fall 2012 season. Black leather velvet and lace, long silhouettes, various cross details and frightening makeup are just a few characteristics of this style.

Trend #4 : MILITARY

None of us likes the idea of war or any military operations but it is a fact that we keep hearing of these almost daily, which has had to affect our vision of fashion. It seems like military trend are quite strong. All of them are simple and comfy like real military clothing but of course the fabrics are softer and designs are more adapted to women’s shapes.

That was the top 4 fashion trends for the Fall season 2013. Of course there are still more to see and wear. Our target was to give you an idea of prevalent looks this season.
