Way
back in 2010 I wrote an article on Prêt-à-Porter SL Style
where I mentioned that ‘style is
a deeply personal expression of who you are and every time you dress, you are
asserting a part of yourself. Image is the foundation of visual credibility,
personal presence and non-verbal communications.’
I have decided to resurrect this concept and I will
be making regular postings about outfits, accessories, hair, shoes, shapes and
skins that catch my eye in the wonderful world of fashion in Second Life.
I kick off with a highly unusual outfit which is more
art than it is dress from The Sea Hole.
The Sea Hole
OCtO dress is available in 3 colours:
It is a hand
drawn halter style dress, with fun tentacles peeking out of the bodice and
curling off the hem of the skirt.
The prim
skirt attachment is sheer with a scalloped hem. The leggings are highly detailed
too. They are sheer and are edged in lace
with a lace up section up the back of the calf and on the knee is a tattered
hole.
The matching
hair bow is included!
The Studded chiffon Dresses available in 6 iridescent colours:
The Studded chiffon dresses shine with iridescence, richly tailored details, and shimmery
studded trim. The fluttery
capped sleeves are sheer as is the underskirt. The back of the dress pops with a unique strappy cut, trimmed
with pyramid studs and grommets.
The juxtaposition of the metal work against the classic cocktail cut and rich fabrics is what makes this classic yet updated dress such a pleasure to wear and own.
* Note
these dresses can be worn without the skirt as a bodysuit (or blouse), as they
have a French bikini cut leg and are completely finished. All hand drawn, crisp digitally rendered
fabrics. All sculpted elements
are mod & copy, all clothing layers included.
