After talking to a few designers, The Second Life Fall 2012 verdict is officially in. Cosy knits and bedazzled collars are here to stay as they continue to thrive as a trend on and off around the virtual world runways. Don't discard your bright coloured fantasies just yet,this season we are being reminded that the age-old technique of making bright,cheery colour work in cold weather is to add black!
Talented designers that truly embrace second life fashion have different idea's on what they think look sizzling hot on the Fall 2012 runway.
Miss Blueberryxx, Owner of Blueberry clothing store absolutely loves her coats and knee high boots. She mixes bright colours with darker shades in a subtle way that makes her clothing look soft and sweet.
Like we all know, fashion designers do love their fancy fur and 6-inch heels but what really matters is the consumer. Consumers usually have their own opinion on what they want to wear, either its something easy to put on or something that stands out. After spending some time wondering around different sims and talking to the public, we came up with the most favourite fall looks.
What do the public really like?Military coats, bright coloured pants, sweaters, scarf’s, and leather boots take the win. Its looks like bright colours are here to stay for a while, By adding a little pop of colour, you make your style more modern and unique,but remember too much of anything is never a good thing.
Lets talk facts:
Gold
Go for gold this fall. Use gold or bronze metallic as details or embellishments on dresses. It doesn't matter if its a pair of gold shoes adorning your feet, a set of gold bangles or gold embellishing your clothes and bags, there are tons of ways to corporate gold to your fall wardrobe.
Tangerine
Tangerine adds a great pop of colour that gives a nice contrast to fall tones like brown and beige.
Knit Sweaters
This season the look is all about knits. You can vary the type of knit you wear,from over sized sweaters to knit gloves. Its always comfortable to wear and this trend is definitely here to stay.
Over-sized Coats
These days, tailored coats are being replaced by less structured and more daring oversized shapes.
Military Jackets
Military jackets were huge last fall and they are making a comeback this season.
Coloured Pants
Funky coloured pants has been dominating Second Life fashion for the past few seasons. They add a fun pop of colour to basic jeans or pants.
