... work for the IRS!
April 15th is a time of stress. If you haven't finished your taxes by then, you are guaranteed a day of number crunching or, in my case, income tax evasion.
No one needs that. Unfortunately, there isn't much I can do for you in this regard. We all stand alone on tax day... except me, because I list all of you, my readers, as my dependents.
What a normal person can do is get a job and make some money. Why not work for the IRS?
SL has her very own IRS Careers Center. It is a recruitment tool for the IRS, most likely put together by one of their more forward-thinkers.
They use an interesting process where they walk you around the sim. There are several paths you can choose, based on how you answer questions like, "Do you have a college degree?" or "Did you study Accounting?"
I was sort of off their chart, as they don't have questions like, "Is the guy who did your taxes last year still in jail?"
However, you may be a better candidate than I am. If so, check out the IRS Careers Center (and yes, that's supposed to be plural on "careers"), and see what they can do for you.
