A Christmas Themed Tour With A Twist Or Ten...
A lot of times, my boss Lanai asks me to go cover something for her. Other things (like the London Riot sim or the Egypt Revolt sim) are so newsworthy that I am sort of just drawn to them. It's natural that way, and journalism moves that same way in the RL world as well.

However, there are other times where I sort of stumble into a good sim because a friend says, "Hurry up... the Lucky Chair is on 'S,' Stacey!" Lanai pays me well enough, but I never argue if someone wants to give me a free dress or something. Times = Tough, and Stacey = Frugal.

Enough algebra... let's talk Latex.

I was brought into Red Devil Inc. by a friend, who wanted someone to chat with while she waited to pounce on one of the store's Lucky Chairs. While she was waiting all day, I scored a swimsuit or something in like .8 minutes, and then beat her to the Wild Card chair or whatever they call that. She had to keep waiting, while I figured that I had used up enough luck that I wouldn't be hurt by touring the premises a bit.

Red Devil Inc specializes in Latex. I was able to chat with Dementia Razor and Pazazu Morgath, who are the co-owners of the store. They gave me a nice tour of the premises, and let me question them about demographics, marketing, and so forth.

Red Devil has been in business for a little over a year (they celebrated their first anniversary last October), and the enjoy a steady flow of customers. I saw a dozen in the time I was there scoping the place out. Red Devil has pretty much everything you're looking for if you want to explore the Lovely Land O' Latex, and strippers who shop there can expect to become very popular afterwards. Order your slaves to shop there, as well.

While a large portion of those who patronize Red Devil are either strippers or BDSM people, they also make an active effort to market towards the more vanilla folks who, while maybe never having been tied up in public like yours truly has, might "go wild" and get a latex skirt now and then.

They have a dungeon on site, and host several events every season. They also participate in events hosted by groups who have Latex-themed events. They also do marketing efforts with other groups, which is why we call this a Transitional Paragraph.

While I was checking out the Red Devil goods, I stumbled across a poster for Twisted Krissmuss. TK is a tour one can take for 100 Ls, in which they will visit over a dozen stores and gather goods. Twisted Krissmuss will run from December until January 6th, so you have some time to hustle down there. It would be a nice way to polish off the 2011 holiday season... and if you can't let go of Christmas by January 6th, there's probably not too much help you're going to get from this column.
