Treasures Night Club recently lost a friend to a diabetic coma. In her memory, there will be an event at Treasures this Saturday, from 10 AM-6PM. It will be called Wrestle For A Cause.
Treasures will have dancing, a DJ, a performance by the rock band Phoenix, and an all day Fighting affair. Look for the giant syringes, which double as donation boxes. All proceeds will go to Bid4ACure, which promotes diabetes awareness.
I actually knew the girl- Carol- who passed away, so I'm pitching in to help. Yours truly has been contacted to do both some Greeting and some Fighting at the event, so come by and watch me get beaten up. I'll do my best to strip my opponent, unless she's sort of ugly.
So, come by, hang around a while, and make a donation to a worthy cause. The fun goes down at the Susan B. Breen Memorial Arena.
