Hockey Krishnas everywhere need to get their gear together for the NHL playoffs.
I write for a relatively major SL newspaper, and I also work as a dancer, a model, a hostess, and a professional wrestler. You'd think I'd have a fancy house, a fleet of cars, and all sorts of rich people stuff... but No.
You see, I instead have things like a battleship, a Batgirl costume, and like 50 pro sports jerseys. There's probably some good reason for that which a psychologist could probably coax out of me over 20 costly and irritating sessions, but I'm too busy shopping for stuff like that.
One place I love to shop is MerAsh Designs. You see, they specialize in NHL jerseys. As the NHL playoffs are going on, one finds that they need to acquire several NHL jerseys. I have Toronto, Detroit, San Jose, and like 5 Boston Bruins jerseys.
A good Bruins fan needs 5 or 6 jerseys. I have Zdeno Chara, Bobby Orr (home and away), a girl's jersey with no number/name on it, and, after this morning, Tim Thomas. I may need a Milan Lucic jersey as well, hence the ambiguous "5 or 6" total listed earlier in the paragraph.
I still need a Hartford Whalers jersey. This will be harder than you think, as Hartford's team left town for Carolina in the 1990s. I've found some Whalers jerseys, but they are a more dark green than I'm looking for. I want a brighter green, and I'll find it eventually.
This sounds odd, and it most likely is... but I'm a hockey cheerleader, and I like to have options on the table. If only one Puckette shows up for a game, I don't wear the uniform of either GOHA team in the game. I go NHL, instead.
MerAsh Designs is a small store, and they still need to add some inventory. They do have all the NHL playoff teams, some girl stuff you can wear if you don't want to look like some big Canuck bruiser, and a full slate of GOHA gear for our own SL hockey league. I'll end up spending a lot of money there before my avvy croaks.
