Need Some Fun in Your Life? Check Out Pando!

I'm always looking for something fun to do--not only for myself but also for my daughters and granddaughter and the myriads of friends who might stop by, bored, needing something to do.

Saturday afternoon, I had my mind set to go to this one particular place on the grid and ended up on Pando instead--and needless to say, I'm glad for that. There is SO much to do...and it was MORE than fun.

Let the fun begin

When I first landed in Pando [slurl], I was met by this great sign that showed me all the wonderful things there is to see and do there.

I used it solely to see what would be on the land, and then I went walking any and everywhere.

One of the first places I ran into was a movie poster shop, and I had to stop in. At this one particular shop, there were only a few posters; however, you can grab the landmark to the large store that has 100s of posters of buy. I bought a few--only L$10 each. Had to get The Godfather...and I'm sure I'll be going back for more.

Not even 10 steps away from the poster store, I found a paintball arena.

Paintball

From the outside, it looks like a little spot, but once you walk through the door, you enter a large, multi-level playing area. Of course, I strapped on my gun and went a-hunting. My life level stayed 100%; however, my opponents' did not.

Other features of Pando are the beautiful galleries, a movie theater, and a great bowling alley, where I stopped in to play a game. They are starting up leagues, and new lanes are coming to the alley soon.

There is also a cabaret and a fun house--with even more clowns (had an experience I talked about in another article regarding clowns) guiding the way into the fun house.

But of course, the main attraction is the fairground, where I rode the ferris wheel, the paratrooper, The Spin, this one ride without a name that flung me all over creation, and other rides that I know for sure I'll want to get on again and want to bring the babies to.

This ride here? Yeah, I was all over the place

Needless to say, I found so much to do here that I didn't fit everything in. Even more great things about Pando? It has great artists who come to perform, a residential poet laureate who often has readings, and a lot of other opportunities for residents and visitors to come together and have fun.

Definitely check out Pando [slurl], and like their Facebook page so that you can stay in the know of the haps!
