When people think Mafia, they might imagine Al Capone with his Tommy gun or even that scene from Scarface when Tony Montana is smoking a fat blunt in his marble Jacuzzi with a gun in one hand and liquor in the other. The bad boy image is definitely there but that’s hardly what Virtual mafia is. In fact there are quite a few retired old school families taking up residence in Second today. Not to worry, they won’t take over your block or start charging illegal taxes and underground gambling. There is a code that all family members most obey and that is, Loyalty, Honor and Respect. If that is broken, families crumble and new leaderships move in and take over. The ones that prevail stick together and do positive things in the community, while not being above backhanding anyone who disrespects their efforts. For those that did not follow the TSO Enquirer (TSOE) back in it’s more primitive days. Mafia News was all the rave and peeps flocked to the paper just to see what families were up to and who was at war with whom. Believe me, there was never a dull moment.
With years gone by and many of the families going back into the shadows, things got quiet, but it seems The Bada Bing’s foundation is still going strong in the hands of The Capones and continues to thrive in Second Life.

SLE: What is the Bada Bing?
Bada Bing: We are a Gaming & Club sim. We recently moved to a full sim. We have Greed or No Greed with weekly tournaments and this week we will be hosting one on our sim. We also have Wacky with the new Wacky version coming out soon. It’s sure to be a huge success. Zyngo , Kickers, Deal or No Deal are other games we offer. There are lots of games to play here at The Bada Bing and we will be adding a lot more in the near future.
SLE: How long have you been in SL?
Bada Bing: BadaBing / Capones have been in SL for about 4 years now, before that was TSO. We have been around for 10 years this year. We plan to have a big celebration honoring our 10 year anniversary.
SLE: Did you come from The Sims Online original Mafias?
Bada Bing: Yes, a lot of us that are original to Bing did come from TSO. Some of us knew each other back then and some of us might have been enemies.
SLE: Who owns The Bada Bing now?
Bada Bing: CosmicCharlie Adamski, KoKo Latte, Marius Tennyson & Duck Seoung are the owners.
SLE: What is your primary objective for Bada Bing?
To ensure our customers have a lot of fun here playing the games we offer and enjoy their time on our sim.
SLE: with Gaming being your main activity, what kind do you offer?
Bada Bing: Zyngo, GNG, Wacky, Kickers, Deal or No Deal, 7 Seas Fishing, Movies and a Mall area.
SLE: Are there any rules and regulations?
Bada Bing: No Biting other than that, have fun and respect everyone.
SLE: Do you have concerts? If so who has performed at your venue?
Bada Bing: No, but this is something we plan to bring to us in the near future. We will Host Live SL Singers and even possibly some comedians.
SLE: Do you have any job openings?
Bada Bing: We are hiring for Hosts for the Gaming and Club, DJ's, Dancer
SLE: Would you consider Second life an extension of your real life or just a game to pass the time?
Bada Bing: Well this is a good question and there is a lot of debate on this. How can you spend as much time with the people you spend with on this "game" and walk away and say it means nothing to you? It’s impossible, or you have a really cold heart. You cannot honestly say that after you had been spending hours and hours with the people you do in SL that it’s just a "game".
