It seems a bit presumptuous to call someone an ‘old timer’ when they are a mere 32 years young and extremely beautiful their real life, but Lanai Jarrico is one of the original pioneers of the now vast Second Life media circuit. She’s just celebrated her fifth rezz day which coincides with the fifth birthday of her long running and much loved newspaper ‘The Second Life Enquirer’ which she brought to SL after its initial conception in another virtual world.

Each week over the past five years, ‘The Second Life Enquirer’ has reported on all aspects of SL and the numerous activities of its millions of residents ;consistently building a solid reputation as the paper that is always first with breaking news. In its long history, SLE (as it’s known affectionately by all its readers) has reported on both the humorous-and tragic, and has also been responsible for some serious investigations into the more shady side of our virtual community, helping to expose real life criminals and griefers alike.
