*Linda Lauren presents a video lecture for The 13 Crystal Skulls Treasure Hunt 2010 & The Imagine Magazine Halloween Party. She speaks about "Max" one of the ancient crystal skulls,photos and rl experience with this amazing crystal skull, said to be thousands of years old.
From October 16 til October 29th, Explorers set out on an expedition across the Second Life grid in search of the 13 legendary Crystal Skulls. Each contained an exclusive gift from each sponsored location long with a golden ticket. The goal was to collect all 13 golden tickets and enter the drawing for a chance to win 12,000L, a photo shoot by Magic Eye Studios’ RebeccaSue Magic, featured in Imagine magazine and a Spotlight feature in The SL Enquirer.
Beginning in the garden at The SL Enquirer Media Center, participants picked up a copy of the “Book of Secrets”. This book contained interesting facts about each of the skulls and included landmarks to the 13 locations; The sponsors, Ministry of Motion, Eclipse Homes, Linda Lauren’s Embracing the Universe, Studio 777, The Awakening Project/Docside Productions, secondnights.com, Intelli, SLE Events Center, Chilled Music Club, Magic Eye Studios, Virtual Ability, and Jazzy’s Design, all had exclusive gifts created just for this hunt!
Once the skull hunters completed their quest and received their awesome gifts, they returned to the Media Center, put their explorer’s note card in the hunt mailbox and entered the grand prize drawing.
For the next week and a half, The Crystal Skulls Treasure hunt turned out over 50 explorers who attempted the quest and 15 Skull experts who completed this journey of ancient knowledge.
On Friday October 29th The 13 Crystal Skulls Finale & Halloween Party took place at 4th Generation Psychic Linda Lauren’s Seers Metaphysical Store to bring an end to the hunt.
Linda along with her assistant Sumi Portola turned their store into a Mayan theme with a twist. The entrance was elegantly put together with the help of Hugen Ocello who gave it a nice red carpet feel.
Linda set up her throne with a large TV that she used to debut a special video recording about “Max” one of the actual ancient crystal skulls. It included a slideshow of Max, Lanai Jarrico and others who actually witnessed “Max” hands on at Linda Lauren’s Metaphysical Center in New Jersey back in June of 2010.
With guest dropping in left and right the celebrate with us, SLE’s Official DJ Sir Brennen aka DJ Detroit took over the stream , providing another great party set. For over 3 years, Sir has been a major part of SLE parties, his delivery and music line up, always keeps the crowd charged up and dancing.
On October 30th, the winner was determined to be Coda Cazalet known as “The Saxy Lady”, a Second Life musician who has been performing with her saxophone for virtual audiences since 2007.
