Benisimo Luik is a singer/songwriter based in the UK.
From his flat , Ben hopes to reach out to music lovers across SL and the world with his performance of covers by some of his favourite artists plus a sprinkling of his own works based on his life of passionate relationships and broken hearts.

He usually does covers from Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Eric Clapton, The Doors, The Steve Miller Band, David Gray, Snow Patrol, James Morrison, The Flaming Lips and many more!

SANDY:Where are you from?
BENISIMO:Birmingham, UK

SANDY:How long have you been playing music?
BENISIMO:20 years

SANDY:Let's start spending some words about SL :how did you discover it and what brought you inworld?BENISIMO:I honestly can't remember how I heard about SL, but what brought me in was mainly loneliness

SANDY:Did you ever think to use your real name for what you usually do in Second Life?
BENISIMO:What I do in SL is just an extension of what I do in RL. Having an avatar pseudonym is part of the fun of SL, but I don't hide behind it. It is rather an online expression of the real me, even though I look totally different, I am the same person.

SANDY:Can you describe your experience in SL:what did you like to do when you were not playing? Did you like to go to live music events or to art exibits?
BENISIMO:I love live music in SL and I have enjoyed some art. I really love to see multi media shows in SL.

SANDY:What has influenced you to get your to where you are today musically?
BENISIMO:I feel it is just my path. I have no specific influences, I just play what I relate to and what feels right.

SANDY:Do you think SL could be a valid showcase for your RL works?
BENISIMO:That is exactly what SL is for me.

SANDY:How would you describe your style?

BENISIMO:Acoustic Rock Pop

SANDY:Which are the sources of your inspiration?
BENISIMO:My past relationsinps, my feelings and experiences in life.

SANDY:Do you use other kind of digital promotions?
BENISIMO:Not yet, I am still learning about the world of computers and the internet. Watch this

BENISIMO:I will continue to use SL as it gives me a great deal of pleasure and it is a tool for airing new material and having my music broadcast into peoples homes all over the world.
